Payment Information


Per notice #5, on the back of your citation; For violations "if you do not pay the full presumptive fine amount in advance and do not appear, the court may enter a conviction and judgment against you for more than the presumptive fine and up to the maximum penalty allowed by law for the charged offense(s) including the maximum fines, restitution and other court costs."


Because of this, the court cannot accept payments on the day you are scheduled for your court appearance!  Please allow 5 business days for the court to update your account.  If you make payment on your court date, you may receive a letter for the balance due.


If you are unable to pay your fine at the court appearance, you may request a pay agreement.  You must appear in person to enter into a pay agreement.  If you fail to appear and will need to enter into a pay agreement; you will need to call our office and schedule an appearance date and time.  Pay plans are subject to an additional one-time fee of $25.00.

Arraignment Information


For those who are unable to appear, a no contest plea submitted on the back of your citation, (option 1 or 2) will be accepted.  You must submit the full presumptive fine amount for each violation.  You may submit a letter to the Judge.  The court must receive this no later than the business day before your scheduled court appearance.  If the fine is reduced, a refund will be sent by mail.  If you choose this option, please include a valid mailing address and phone number.


For those who are wishing to submit a not guilty plea and request a trial, without having to appear in court; follow option 3 on the back of your citation.  Your plea must be received in our office no later than the business day before you are scheduled to appear.  Please included a valid amailing address and phone number. Also, include any dates or times that your are not available.  A trial date will be mailed to you.


You cannot file paperwork or make pleas by email or fax.  Emails do not constitute an appearance or a written explanation by a defendant.  You must contact the Court in writing through standard mail or you must appear in court.


Parking Citations


Most parking citations are written to the registered owner of the vehicle. If you had previously sold the vehicle, the Court will require proof from the Department of Motor Vehicles, the transaction was flagged in their system before the date of occurrence on the citation.
