NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Columbia County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018 will be held at 230 Strand Street, Room 308, St. Helens, OR 97051. The meeting will take place on the 25th day of April, 2017 at 9:30 AM.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and budget document and receive public comment on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 17, 2017, at the finance office at 230 Strand Street, St. Helens, OR between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M Monday through Friday.
This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.

The Columbia County Finance Department is responsible for tax collection and for the financial administration of the county including payroll, budgets and accounts payable.
The Finance Department currently holds the Certificate of Achievement of Excellence in Financial reporting and the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award, both bestowed by the Government Finance Officers Association, in recognition of the high professional standards maintained by the department.
